Hey people. I've been frequenting the place (the wiki, actually) quite often, so I've decided to join this place. The reason I'm so into Dothraki is because I love ASoIaF and I think it's great that at least one "faction" in there could get its own language! I'm also a conlanger myself, and right now I'm working on a language in a very Old Norse/Icelandic vibe.

You already know about the wiki, and I bet you know about the dictionary. There is also David Peterson's blog at http://www.dothraki.com . There is als an IRC chat where a number of us get together every Monday evening at 7 PM Pacific time.

Traffic here is a bit slow. But a number of us constantly monitor the list and are ready to answer questions you might have. But interest in Dothraki is growing, and we all hope that will not remain a 'quiet backwater' forever!
