This is a tough one, as several words that woulr work well here do not exist. As a first try:

Anhaan nem zhille vov zigere; Laji ahesh!

Towards me (are) any weapons required; Fight now!

I am going to continue to think about this.

hum. Yes. If you want stuff tattoo-level seriously right, you must inevitably as David. But it's still good to have a proposition or two before that.

Quote
Anhaan nem zhille vov zigere; Laji ahesh!
Ahesh is a dictionary search fumble. Should be ajjin. ... How do you figure nem there?

My try, very simplified approach: Zhille vov zigere yeri. Laji ajjin!
Or perhaps less simply: Zhille vov, finoon zigeree yer, mra qora yeri. Laji ajjin!

Game of Thrones is not The Song of Ice and Fire, sweetling. You'll learn that one day to your sorrow.

Sorry about ajjin. I have it right on my notes. I just wrote the wrong word as I was in a hurry at lunchtime.
I put nem in the sentence, because to me, the sentence seemed a little passive.

Your first suggestion seems a little too simplified, although I can see that second person was definitely better for the pronoun. The second one, although IMHO too long, is more along the right track.

I will agree though, this is a good one to bounce off of David.

Turning sentences to passive voice (where "passive" is a linquistical term, not just a descriptive word of general language) is quite a radical trick. It's roughly the difference between "I will kill" and "I will be killed". In all ways I know to use nem, it always affects the sentence structure around it, and I don't think we know if it has any use with copulaless sentences, or for that matter intransitive verbs.

...sorry about sidetracking to grammar discussion. Happens to me a lot.

I think it might be better to go with Ajjin laji! than Laji ajjin! ... The latter is of course the standard Dothraki word order, but adverbs can be fronted for the sake of ephasis, and English version seems almost "Now: fight!"

Oh. And qora should be inalienable, I believe.

Zhille vov zigere mra qora yeroon. Ajjin laji!

Since it is for a tattoo I definately recommend having Davids input since there are so many different ways to express something like this.
"I just need to rest, that’s all, to rest and sleep some, and maybe die a little" – Samwell Tarly

You can email him at [email protected] or message him on Twitter where he is called @dedalvs. Another way could be to stop by on one of the IRC chats every monday where David usually but not always shows up.

Hey everyone! I wrote Dave and this is what he replied:

Provided that the person being addressed is singular (i.e. whoever's speaking is speaking to one person), this is the standard translation:  Ei vovi finoa zigeree yer ma yeroon. Ajjin lajas!

But he kind of likes this translation better:
Mori ma yeroon, ei vovi finoa zigeree yer. Ajjin lajas!

Both are correct.... so... what do you say? which one shoud i get? :D

Well, this of course depends on your taste. But maybe it would help if we analyze the differences between the two.

The first one seems to mean: "All the weapons that you need are with you. Now fight!". Seemly the most literal one of the pair.

On the other hand the second one seems to mean: "They are with you, all the weapons that you need. Now fight!"

I think I would say the second one in a conversation but write the first one as a fixed phrase. But then again, ultimately the choice is only yours.
