You really don't have to be a language nerd to learn Dothraki! It's just a fun hobby. Maybe you'll end up a language nerd by the end of the series, though.

Should be good, have set aside some time for it, going to to get on it over the next few days!

Basically, it's to lose interest in something, to stop doing it as hard as you were before.
