While there isn't a known specific translation of "to lift", we do have a word for "to raise" - manaeragon - and given that David J. Peterson is sparse when it comes to coining new terms, it seems likely that it would be the same word. "All men must lift" or "all men must raise" would thus be Valar manaeris. For an answer that is definitely correct though, I would advise to ask DJP directly.

I don't think there is anyone that is able to speak Valyrian with any great degree of fluency. One problem is that the full grammar and vocabulary have not been made public, so there isn't really any feasible way to become a "speaker" just yet. Your best bet is contacting the creator David J. Peterson. It's great that you are doing a feature on Valyrian though, best of luck in your search!

The vast majority are consonant-stem verbs, but there is no system for determining it, so you have to essentially learn it along with the verb. The conjugations look different though, for example if you know the perfect participle you can tell which type it is. Good luck with the studying!

According to DJP:
Ñuhor līr gūrēnna. — I will take what is mine.

According to the wiki and probably DJP:
... se avy ōdrikosy lī hīghari morghūlilzi. — ... and those who would harm you will die screaming.

with fire and blood  - perzomy ānogrosā

So put together that would be:

Ñuhor līr gūrēnna perzomy ānogrosā, se avy ōdrikosy lī hīghari morghūlilzi.
I will take what is mine with fire and blood, and those who would harm you will die screaming.

If you want a nice font for it, this one is really good and inspired by the show: https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/catharsis-fonts/volantene-script/. Scroll down and select enter your own text, paste and voilà!
Here you can (hopefully) see how the sentence looks: https://cdn.myfonts.net/a_91/u/3a/be2afa60a43a204b5c6aab5f39479c.gif

I agree, it would make searching near impossible and I don't really see the advantages. The gender/declension class is listed for almost all nouns, and the endings for verbs and adjectives are very regular. What additional information would interpuncts provide?

You are of course correct. I thought the plural might be more fitting, since the sentence is a paraphrase of what Dany has said, and in that context she is talking about several things. Perhaps the collective īlvori could fit, if it is declined that way.

Qvaak's points are very valid. This is my try at a translation:

Original: "We will take back what is ours with fire and blood, and our enemies will die screaming"

Structure in HV: with-fire and-with-blood our-things back we-will-take, and our enemies by-pain will-die

Translation: "Perzomy ānogrosā īlva arlī mazemili, se īlvi qrinuntyssy ōdrose morghūlilzi."

Qrinuntys is (in my and others opinion) the best guess we have for "enemy" at the moment, but it hasn't been confirmed. Alas, we don't know the verb "to scream" in High Valyrian, which is why I went with ōdrose, which is is the noun "pain" in the instrumental case, essentially meaning "in a painful manner".

EDIT: Woops, I got the ending of the first verb wrong! Fixed.

Hi Aemon,
there is a lot of vocabulary which we don't know yet, such as words for "history", "founding", "freehold" and "doom". The words for "doom" and "freehold" I have myself asked David J. Peterson about, but at the time he couldn't give me an answer. The following means something like "A statement about Valyria from the city's creation to the end": Valyrio bē vestretir hen oktio mazvēttīr va kelitīr. You probably want to ask DJP himself about this, since I formed two "new" nouns form verbs in this sentence, and I am not wholly clear on their meaning. Best of luck with your story!
